In March we will also have a Mercury retrograde period, which will be March 12th – April 3rd. It's a good idea to get your car and computer checked out and have any needed repairs done. Make sure to do back-ups of all your computer's files.

Money slowdown started on February 27th with the cycle of Venus opposite Saturn. It peaks on March 4^th, and stays in range through March 8^th. Fortunately, this feeling of lack is short-lived. More money and opportunities for new projects are on the way staring on March 7th  when Venus is conjunct with Jupiter in the resourceful sign of Taurus and in a grand trine with Pluto and Mars. This cycle peaks on March 12th – 14th, particularly March 13^th. 

Mars is in retrograde until April 13th and the Mercury in retrograde from March 12th until April 3rd. The best strategy at this point is to seriously slow down and start double-checking all details before sending out anything. Mercury retrograde indicates we have things to learn, mistakes to find, and fixes to make. Delays and miscommunications are common.  This can be a challenging time for trying to start anything new. However it may be an excellent time to have a big promotional sale of existing products to current customers. You could do a direct mailing or emails for a web-based promotion through until March 17^th. You could also test-market a new product or service to a select portion of your current customers.

On March 8, there was a Full Moon with the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo. This was a very transitional time. In the Full Moon chart, Mars is conjunct with the Moon in Virgo giving us the opportunity to let go of any emotional baggage we are harboring like anger, fear, jealousy or resentment. It is important to know what house your full moon is in. The houses the Full Moon is in will show you what areas of life your challenges will be in. As we let go of what does not serve us, we can visualize what we to want to accomplish in the spring and summer months.

Reflections on February 2012

On Valentine's Day there was a rainbow at Pike Market in Seattle, Washington.

I feel that romance is a state of mind. Life is what you make of it. First you need to imagine what you desire. Then you must take the actions that move you toward creating what you desire. I made a wish that there was more love and peace and less war and greed in the world.

I feel that I've experienced my most romantic moments in San Francisco, especially around Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. But Seattle also has its own natural beauty and charms.
