April Moonwise Musings

For Better Timing

in Your Business and Personal life

We are out of the Mercury Retrograde since April 4, so it is the best time to open our intuitive minds and be more aware of our dreams. This will bring insights and make us ready for new ideas on April 24th when Mercury is out of its Shadow and ready for action in 7 degrees of Aries.

It is best to wait until the next New Moon on April 21st for new starts when Mars and Mercury will be Direct. If you are patient and wait you will have far fewer delays and a much easier time of accomplishing what you want to do and  will be a lot clearer on what to do and how to do it.

Next, there’s a cycle that starts on April 8th, in which there are a lot of additional responsibilities that need to be handled like our tax returns. This cycle is Sun opposite Saturn and it peaks on April 15th and stays in range through April 20th.  It is important to get in touch with Saturn’s organizing energies for all your mundane tasks and not get overwhelmed with this challenging cycle of Sun opposite Saturn.

We are slowly coming out of a challenging time with Mars Retrograde. Especially because Mars was retrograde in Virgo since January 24, there have been challenging aspects to Neptune, in particular issues with regard to our health and work. This aspect will be in orb until the end of April. Therefore, it is important to stay grounded and avoid overworking yourself.

Let’s not forget that Mars will be Retrograde until April 14th. During this time, we’re strongly encouraged to take time out to reconsider what direction we want to take during the next two years. With Jupiter changing signs in June, this will give us new opportunities to travel, learn something new and share our ideas/products with the world. It’s an important time to let go of old resentments with co-workers, friends, family or partners. When we free up these energies that have been blocking our paths, we will see more new opportunities in the Spring and Summer months.

I had a fun Full Moon weekend with the Sun in Aries and the Moon in Libra. I felt restless and was glad to have a concert to go on Saturday when the Moon was in Scorpio. The concert was at Om Culture with The GuruGanesha Band and the amazing Gina Salá performed for a magical evening of joyful chanting and world music.

Here's a video of The Guru Ganesha Band that I recorded.

The Full Moon on April 6th with Mars opposite Neptune, brought about some confusion regarding goals for the future and a lack of energy. Take note that your immune system may be weak and unable to resist illnesses if you don’t take care of yourself. This aspect can also indicate deception or confusion in relationships. It would have been best to check your facts and look at the fine print when dealing with business partnerships and with intimate relationships. Trust your intuition, but also double check communications with texting and e-mails.
