*Time for Making our **Intentions ****January **2013****Astrological Guide*

Time for Making our Intentions
January 2013
Astrological Guide
for your Business and Personal Life

Numerology for the year 2013

We are moving from a universal 5 year of change, independence, and sudden unexpected events to a universal 6 year of where the focus will be on relationships and your home.  It’s the most loving, compassionate, humane, responsible, and affectionate number.
During 6 Years, it’s important to take your time making decisions and to think before you speak or act.  Patience is important this year, and developing this skill will reap benefits.
This 6 Year, it is important to continue the work and projects that were begun last year, or to implement the ideas that you came up with last year but didn’t get a chance to finish.  Overall, this is a good year to finish things, especially in business or your career, because next year (2014 is a 7 Year) will likely be more of a spiritual, inner-focused year.
January is the best month to time to get organized and be productive with the support of the New Moon in Capricorn on January 11th 2013. Also the planets  Mercury and Venus in Capricorn present us with new opportunities to expand especially when we set our intentions and make plans for the New Year in our business and careers. As I have said before, astrology is a guide for success, (better timing better results) when you use the planetary cycles as a guide to plan your life and take advantage of the astrological transits in your birth- chart.

On the 12th - 18th of January when Venus aligns with innovative Uranus and transforming Pluto, it is good to time to get in harmony with your values and actions in the world. This combination allows you  to release old habit patterns in your life and realign with your true purpose in life. It helps you softly remember that you are here for more than paying your bills or completing your "to do" list.

The energies of 2013 push your comfort zone, and that is a good thing. As the frequencies of planet earth shift your personal energetic field must shift to stay present on planet earth.
Both Saturn in emotional Scorpio who helps you release old fears and wounds and Pluto in restructuring Capricorn are asking for deep change and self renewal. They create plenty of inner work together, but now there is an added energy pushing your spirit to expand beyond limited thinking.  Risk-taking Jupiter continues to be in Gemini until June 26th,   urges you to go beyond traditional thinking to open to a myriad of new possibilities.  Since Jupiter has been retrograde since early October projects have been put on hold will pick up speed in February after Jupiter goes direct on Jan. 30th. The only glitch to this is Mercury beginning another retrograde cycle on February 23rd in visionary Pisces. Check back for insight on Mercury in Pisces retrograde in February’s Moon-Wise Musing Blog

Jupiter sextile Uranus, transit began on December 31st. This cycle can bring in unexpected growth opportunities. However you must take action in order for that to occur. Opportunities are there for you to pursue, but they don’t demand action. This cycle stays in range through March 29th. It’s already peaked for the last time, but it stays within one degree of exactness between January 25th and March 4th, which suggests these opportunities are strong.
Jan 18, 2013: Sun Square Moon First Quarter Moon 3:45 pm PST and at 6:45 PM EST

The First Quarter Moon of the year in Capricorn and Aries on Friday can bring an active, ambitiousness with the Sun square the moon but at 5:30 pm PST and 8:30 EST pm the energies will slow down and move into Taurus. It would be best with the Moon in Taurus to be steady and patients with your projects. If you overextend yourself, trying to do move too quickly and do too many projects with the Moon in Taurus and you can become frustrated with yourself and others...  At this time we tend to be motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness, materialism and over eating under this influence. It can also be a time to be productive and creative.

Sun enters Aquarius on Saturday 19th at 1:52 pm PST and at 4:52 pm EST
Time to be open to the new visionary and humanitarian energies of Aquarius

Full Moon: Saturday January 26th   8:38 pm PST 11:38 PM EST:  Sun Aquarius Opposition Moon Leo at 8 degrees.  This is generally a great time to socialize with your friends. This can an important time if you have planets in Aquarius or Leo between 4 degrees -12 degrees.  The House  placement of the New Moon and the Full Moon in your chart will give you insight into the opportunties and challenges in   your life for 2013.
